    Under this system, Nad office is headed by a Deputy Tahsildar ( 7upgraded from the post of RI and belongs to Shirestedar cadre) and he is provided with a skeleton staff constiting of 1 Second Division Clerk, 1 Typist and 1 Peon. The following powers of Tahsildar are delegated to the Deputy Tahsildars under ” Nad System “:-

    1.  Sanction of Old Age Pension.
    2. Sanctioning of pension to the Physically handicapped persons.
    3. Sanctioning of Widow pension.
    4. Sanctioning of Sandhya Suraksha.
    5. Recovery of Government dues and remittance thereof and maintenance of D.C.B.
    6. Levy of T.T. fines.
    7. Disposal of Mutation cases.
    8. Collection and remittance of Government dues, and maintenance of D.C.B. Accounts
    9. Levy of water rate and betterment contribution under Karnataka Irrigation Act, 1965.
    10. Issue of certified copies
    11. Recovery of Government dues and remitting the same to the Government.
    12. Bona fide Agricultrual certified copies
    13. Management of Muzrai institutions.
    14. Preparing Darkast records.
    15. Supervising VAs and RIs
    16. R.R.T. Cases.
    17. Protection of Government lands
